German startup Sitegeist GmbH said today it has raised €4 million (around $4.75 million) in pre-seed funding to help accelerate the renovation of Europe’s infrastructure with robotic automation.
"You can already buy a humanoid today, which gives you a payback period versus human workers of less than 10 weeks," a former Citi executive told CNBC.
The autonomous construction tech provider now boasts total funding of over $350 million and a valuation of $1.75 billion.
