Brian Hooker was being taken by police to his vessel when he fell, was handcuffed, lawyer said.

The Bahamian police said they had arrested an American man in connection with the disappearance of Lynette Hooker, who fell off a dinghy while boating with her husband.

Specifically, Hooker is said to have previously choked Lynette and threatened to throw his wife overboard, part of a larger problem with his temper.
