Big news just in for Wirral // The Government has announced this afternoon that Wirral is to be included in its new 'Pride in Place' initiative - getting a share of a £5 billion national investment programme to help communities breathe new life into local spaces and high streets. Under the new programme three Wirral communities - Woodchurch, Seacombe and Birkenhead Central - will be handed unprecedented powers to revitalise their neglected high street buildings, create new spaces for young peopl
